An outdoor bench designed for furniture brand Moróro.

Development
Alongside the social aspect, the project became an exercise in reduction.
The goal was to create a piece of outdoor furniture using as few interventions as possible. Every bend, weld and connection was questioned until only the essential remained.
The final construction consists of only three primary components: folded steel elements combined with a laser-cut seat. Two simple bends define the structure, while the entire object can be produced as a flat-pack system for efficient manufacturing and transport.
Rather than relying on visual complexity, the character of the bench emerges through its proportions, silhouette and careful detailing.

Final object
Zitá is an outdoor bench designed for two people and developed as a natural companion to Moróro's fire pit collection.
Its gentle curve encourages people to gather around the fire in a coherent composition, creating an environment that feels calm, integrated and focused on shared experience. The restrained construction gives the object a light yet confident presence, while an optional cushion adds comfort without altering the simplicity of the design.
The result is a bench where social interaction, manufacturing efficiency and visual restraint come together in one clear design.
